DesEagle, Spire and Winchester

Post by Fakkel on Wed Mar 25, 2015 10:00 am

Hi everybody

Thought I would start with a picture of my Makies kitchen. It's called "My Little Kitchen" and was a toy produced by a Danish toy company called TOP-TOY. I wrote to them to ask if they would consider starting a new production of it since it fits perfectly for both Barbie, Monster High and although a little bit tall for the Makie dolls, I think it is perfect for them too. Loved that it's not made in pink colours. It has so many bits and pieces you won't believe it Very Happy  I will try to post some more pictures of it later on.

that s a super cool kitchen! the red and white makes me think of the kitchen set wilkos sell, which is a wonderful change of pace from the pink grossness of Barbie.

look at all the teeny things! when was this made?

It was made in 1997-1999 and I think it was only in Danish stores. It was on massive sale when I started working for the company who made them and since I also had an additional discount my mom went crazy and bought so much of it. Now I'm thrilled she did who knew I would find interest in dolls (other than He-Man Wink ). By the way: The refrigerator (spelled?) has light installed. The oven has light and sound. The sink has a pump for real water and so does the dishwasher. Me and my 5-year-old son are having so much fun with it.

Wow, this is a great kitchen!  I can imagine they get up to all sorts of mischief with the making of culinary delights in there

That is such a cool kitchen set. Last time I checked barbie had a bright pink, sparkly kitchen for sale. I think I might have one lying around somewhere. Anyways it's an awesome set, shame they aren't going to be producing them again. Can't wait to see what mishaps and delights come out of this kitchen.

Wilkos have a fairly nice red and white kitchen set. Not sure how robust it is but for a display piece it'd probably be fine. I've been tempted heh, because finding something non pink and pastelly is really difficult. Barbie stuff is always so hopelessly unrealistic and grossly sparkly.

I want a teeny toaster, look at those teeny utensils and electronic goods!

I have a Barbie one. It's purple and pink and VERY sparkly. It worked well for my Makie until I got Ryan. Kendra loves pink so she had to have that one. Ryan just says that when he uses the 'gross' pink dishes it makes him feel like a Ken doll. Maybe for supper tonight I'll have Kendra make a cake. Then he wont complain Wink

Winchester totally understands how Ryan feels. He wouldn't be caught dead in a pink kitchen Wink  or actually he probably would die if he had to set a foot in a pink kitchen. Don't think I have seen your Ryan by the way. Will go look for him right away. Just love those Makie boys Smile

Oh no! I think DesEagle kissed Spire yesterday. Right now he's being interrogated by Winchester even though Winchester told me they would sort it out over a beer. Sure there is beer on the table but that knife he's playing with makes me nervous...
