Wren's Wardrobe

Post by MissRead on Fri Feb 06, 2015 9:11 am

I have been really enjoying making clothes for Wren since she arrived just over a week ago.  Last night I knitted a little sleeveless top to go with her jeans I made.

Okay so it is just not going to let me insert an image!  Maybe another time.

Hi! I think p_m has lifted the one week picture posting ban that came standard on the forum. I just put up some pictures after not being able to last night.

Thanks - I have been experimenting today - drafting patterns and seeing how they work.  Quite pleased with this - it is fun!

Okay, so I didn't quite realise that Wren was going to be a bit of a fashionista!  It seems she is keen to experiment with different fashions to find just the look she is wanting...

As well as fashion, she loves books, reading, nature, walking outdoors - but only when it isn't too cold!  She also likes butterflies and birds.  She is still keeping her complete personality underwraps, but little snippets keep appearing.  She is quite strong willed at times as is evidenced by her insistence with regards to wearing her boots with everything!

As well as the 'Flower Power' jacket today she also had made a new dress and a messenger bag - pattern thanks to Makie Couture.

Wow, the photo with the bag is so cute. And what a nice tiny print for the dress--I love finding a fabric print that is to scale. Then, it's also fun to think about how to cheat and still use a giant print.

wonderful! I'm starting to wish I had a sewing machine now. I can make clothes, but being hand stitched they're a bit rough looking. These look so professional and great.

Ooh! I love all the different shades of purple in the dress!

The blue sneakers are great too! My Sci still only has the shoes she came with, though I might have to change that...

Wren just loves her boots - I discovered them via a thread on the old forum...  Mimiwoo shoes via ebay.

Looks wonderful on her! I never tired of seeing all the lovely creations other knitters make for their dolls.

A sun dress for Wren - her wardrobe for her upcoming holiday is almost complete now...she also has shorts and a bikini.

Wow, Wren is such a lucky girl. I can't knit but I have done some sewing for Nala but nothing compared to that. You are very talented and I love looking at the amazing little wardrobe that Wren has.Smile

Every time I see Wren in something new, I saw "awww" out loud. That dress is great.
